This floating village is located south of Siem Reap on the canal near of Tonle Sap Lake. GPS Position: 13.262596, 103.822848.

To get inside, you have to little bit slip into, because as a tourist you can not enter this village. On the road, there was a guard. Official way is taking a tourist boat to the Tonle Sap Lake where you can see only touristic attractions and the lake, not the local floating houses.

When I was there, I met one Korean boy and we just slip into the village. We walked along the left side of the canal. After 1km in the middle of this village, one local boy offered us a boat ride through the canal.

It was interesting to see those people living in the floating houses. They make living from fishing. There was even a shop-boat, restaurant-boat, and floating workshop.

Some parts of floating houses use empty plastic bottles. Good way how to recycle these bottles.
